Background : Water is component of body which is at most. Approximate 60% weight of body compiled by water which can become two component that is liquid of intracellular and dilution extracellular. When we do an activity, there are many form of metabolism causing reduction total of body liquid happened in our body.
In the field of health, all experts strongly suggest to do sports activities in order to improve quality of live and maintain healthy. After taken steps of lights activities until those weights there will be a change in our body inclusive of composition of body liquid. The change of composition of abundant liquid will result dehydration in the body and this will causes fatal effects to our vital organs, e.g.: heart and brain.
To avoid the possibility of worst hence we have to know definition of security of an activity that we do. One of them is by measurement of change of dilution of body after doing physical activity through assessment of change of haematocrit rate. Such as those which conducted in this research.
Objective : This research is aim to know how big the change of haematocrit after taken steps of sub maximal physical activity during 30 minute. The sample has taken come from determined subject based on criterion of Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) from Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology.
Previously have also been done by a similar research but there are difference at
variable of research, treatment and location of research.
Method : This research is using a pure experimental method with conducting an experiment to 50 people who have place in faal laboratory at Islamic University of Indonesia. Schedules of those researches are compared with subject and researcher agreement. All subject imposed by a same treatment. After doing the research, the result of data will be processed using SPSS.
Result : According to the experiment done, there are results of average of haematocrit value before doing activity is 49.3360 % and after conduct activity is 48.8940 %.
Conclusion : So, conclusion which got is there is no significant change
between value of haematocrit before and after activities by p = 0,371, where p > 0,05.
